Crackdown On Whistle Blowers
Liberals said Obama would prosecute those involved in Bush-era torture. He did. His Justice Department prosecuted former CIA agent John Kiriakou who blew the whistle on it by reporting it to the media.
They said he would prosecute those responsible for atrocities such as massacre of unarmed women and children in Iraq. He did. He arrested, detained, put in solitary confinement and charged with espionage Bradley Manning who blew the whistle on that.
They said he would hold corporations accountable for their abuse and fraud. He did. He gave cabinet posts to several of them including Goldman Sachs, Monsanto, General Electric and others so they could hold themselves accountable.
